Here are some general tips about shopping online, the best online stores, etc. etc. ! Since back-to-school shopping is happening very soon, I thought this would be helpful for all those online shoppers. (This is studyblr-centric btw)

II. Tips

-Always read the 3 star reviews when buying online

- There are price comparison sites like Google Shopping, that helps you compare prices! There are also extensions like PriceBlink

- Buy things in bulk/ ahead of the time so you can get free shipping.

- Compare the price in-store and the price online. Some in-store products are cheaper than online products! Check beforehand.

- be aware of lifetime guarantees (i.e Jansport backpack / Camelbak / Dr. Martens) they will save you from wasting $60 bucks (or more!) if it needs repairs! Here are 32 brands that offer lifetime guarantees.

- Be patient. Some companies offer discounts when you put products in your cart for a few days! If you don’t need it immediately.. Wait for it. Unless it’s like a sale that ends tomorrow.

- If you really love a store, consider signing up for emails to be notified of seasonal sales and special discounts! I recommend signing up with an alternate email and checking now and then instead of cluttering your primary email.

- Use review sites. Research a little before spending your cash. Here are 19 review websites worth considering.

- Some sites allow you you to have multiple coupons. ALWAYS use the percent coupons first, then use the $ off. (i.e. 30% then 15 dollars off)

- Sometimes price drops within a few days and you are just like -_-  try price drop sites like camelcamelcamel!

- Try cashback sites! Sites like Ebates allow you to get a percentage of whatever you buy and is so helpful for just giving you that extra ca$h.

- An easy tip to check if sites are secure is to see if it has an http in front of its address, it usually mean the site is more secured.

-Before you buy from a flash sale site, make sure the product is not more expensive than it is in other stores.
